Yesterday was the anniversary of Martin Luther King's march on Washington, and his "I have a dream" speech. This quote resonates with me, because I have a few very special, older black women in my life, who have taught me a lot about strength and caring for others. Racism doesn't have a place in their hearts, an it is inspiring...
"It's so clear that you have to cherish everyone. I think that's what I get from these older black women, that every soul is to be cherished, that every flower is to bloom."
